So in this piece we had to put a CG object in a real photo. Can you find the CG object?

Character Modeling Midterm

I have to say that today Im especially proud of my work. Not only did I do a pretty damn good face mesh, but I did it in about 2 and 1/2 hours, which for me is not only triumphant, but unheard of. The finished product is simply a wireframe shaded facemesh that was built from a 2D character of the teachers choosing. Anyone who knows anything about modeling characters knows that it is especially hard to model flat 2D characters. It was a lot of fun, and hope this means I am getting better.

Concept Piece

This is a concept for the tentacle of a leviathan that I had. Enjoy.

Hard Surface Final

For this joy of a project, we were to recreate a truck of some sort in Autodesk Maya. Here is the finished project which by the time made me much more than a novice at modeling and opened me up to the thought that maybe I can do more than just draw pretty pictures. Enjoy.

Principles of 3D Animation Final

The legendary bouncing ball, walk cycle, and relative action animation all tied into one. Without any of these animation classes wouldn't have anything to teach. So it seems only natural to showcase them all. In this project we were to have the robot take three steps, interact with the ball in some sort of way to get it to react and then have the ball bounce at least three times accordingly. I was very pleased with how this came out and I hope you enjoy.

Editing Project

This was my first Editing project and what gave me the love that I have for playing with video and audio and using them to create interesting pieces. This is a typical project of the class to get us comfortable with Final Cut Pro, and the idea of editing to video footage to audio. Once again I apologize for the aspect ratio of the project for this was another video I lost to the procrastination of not backing up files. You live you learn, and you break broken hard drives with unknown amounts of fury. Enjoy

Motion Graphics Final

So this next video was a final for my Adobe After Effects final showcasing an understanding of what I learned. The animation was a little thing Im working on, on the side. But everything else to take away is the cuts, and the use of motion graphics in the piece. If you like my designs and very basic story. Awesome.

Editing Class Final

Hello readers, I know right? Another video, so soon? Some of the work I will be posting is whatever I can bring together from previous classes and so forth not just to showcase my skills but also another way of backing up my work. Recently my hard drive decided to join the occupy movement and crashed on me. Im still slowly retrieving stuff. So without further a due, here is my final from Editing class. Our goal was to re-cut a trailer to a movie and showcase our video and audio editing skills. I apologize in advance for the artifacts in the audio, and also the aspect ratio. This along with my other videos had to be recovered from Facebook because of my hard drive crash. Once or even if I can recover the originals, these will be replaced and shiny. Enjoy.
